Real estate agents who work for brokerages are upheld to certain quality standards. When working with a brokerage it is very important to make sure the brokerage has the right licenses. As mentioned before, the California Department of Real Estate can help you find a licensed brokerage and learn more about what you should look for in a real estate professional. You can even use the DRE website to search for brokers, real estate agents and other real estate professionals.
